I work on blockchain, FinTech and identity management. Current focus: Byzantine fault tolerance (BFT) and its accountability, payment channel networks (PCN), authentication / authorization / audit, and LLM agents. Member of the Information Security Laboratory and the Blockchain Research Center at PKU.

Research
My work asks how untrusting parties can share a ledger and hold each other accountable: making BFT consensus faster (with TEEs) and answerable (accountability proofs), scaling payments off-chain (PCN models and pooling), and proving the integrity and availability of sensitive data. On the application side I study authentication, authorization, audit and credit scoring for financial systems, and more recently how LLM agents can transact and be audited on such infrastructure.
